Job Description
The Business Solution Group works with the various Misys teams (sales,
marketing, product management, implementation, customer support) in
order to contribute winning the business in the market place. They
have a wide range of both business & technical skills and competencies
within their team, are highly involved in the pre-sales activities, demos,
RFIs and RFPs management.
Become functional expert on the Misys Enterprise Risk Solutions and be
able to present the value proposition across risk pillars: ALM, credit,
market and liquidity risk.
Establish credibility with the client, analysis of the client’s needs
and position the Solution modules appropriately within the sales process
Preparation of RFI/RFPs replies to assure the Solution is presented
according to the key criteria of the prospect/client
Advice on business best practice and technology, mentoring and advising
throughout all phases of the sales cycle to ensure world class solution
selection
Assists more junior staff members with aspects of their job
Collaborate with sales representatives throughout the lifecycle of the
sales campaign, including exploratory meetings, demonstrations, workshops,
and gap analysis to assure consistency of messages
Emphasis is on being leader on core tasks and opportunities, sharing
knowledge on areas of expertise. Expected to have deep expertise in
dedicated areas of focus such as ALM, Credit / Market / Liquidity risk.
Manage opportunity and bid qualification assessment and coordinate key
internal stakeholders involved in the sales process
Contribute in areas of expertise to the Solution product strategy
Develops/adapts advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs,
Creates customer partnerships, able to x-sell Misys Products to the customer
Skills/Requirements
Position is based in China and focused on Misys Enterprise Risk
Solutions for the China market
Strong client focus and impeccable professional integrity
Good Bachelor or Post Graduate degree in Risk Management or Finance
7+ years professional business experience in Risk Management (bank,
consulting firm or solution provider)
Been involved in the selection and implementation of a capital market
solution within a financial institution is a distinct advantage
Good knowledge of ALM balance sheet management of financial institutions
Good knowledge of trading risk in treasury and capital markets business
of financial institutions
Ideal candidates will have superior troubleshooting skills, excellent
communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
Ability to work independently and in teams geared to individuals who are
good in multi-task
Strong presentation skills and ability to express complex business
topics in Mandarin and English
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Creative and able to work under pressure
Willingness to travel internationally as may be required from time to
time
