Labor of statistic are bunch of morons who didn't pass first grade math.

Look at the definition of unemployment rate:
(people who are unemployed but are actively seeking jobs)
didvide by
(the total labor force, note that includes people who are employed and
people who are are actively looking for
jobs).
Because job market improved, some people who gave up looking jumped back to
the queue...
