Mid cap company (market cap 800mil)
% of Float Held by Institutional & Mutual Fund Owners: 152%
average 3 month volume is 300,000
计划持股2-3月，会不会因成交量小所以回报低？会不会因是小散户有更多风险？

why they have 152% holding?

just googled it.
it can be more than 100% if institutional owner own the stock both be
counted as insider (if more than 10%) or outsider (count into float).
I guess the implication is the stock is owned primarily by institutional
owner.

Why don't you list the stock symbol here?
152% float holding possibly means it is highly shorted. If it is the case,
bankruptcy is not far.

thanks, coldface. I just did a little dig. It is true the stock is heavily
shorted. Short ratio is 31% as in mid July.
what I don't understand is why there are so many short orders. The stock
looks perfectly fine to me: DSW The firm has no long term debt, current
ratio is good, and a lot of cash on hand.

I am not familiar with this one. It is strange to me that it has that high
short interest. I have other shoe stocks. Shoe sector has be performing
well for more than one year.
