After all these acquisition, they don't have much cash left for stock buy
back.
This company does not have a good track record for acquiring other companies
. Really stupid move!

why ARMH hits new hight?
I thought INTC bought Infineon, should go higher.but it's competitor goes
higher again.

我们公司和金融有关, 所以交易要提前批才行.
我在CSCO ER前想卖, 没同意. 被套到现在了, NND.
经济前景不好, 科技股马上就下去, 反之起来的也快.
现在大家普遍看跌, 还是想想割肉还是抗着.
这种阴跌最恶心. 慢慢的就把你套住了.

INTC acquired some other mobile chip company several years ago with high
premium but for some reason it didn't run well and was sold as a huge mark
down in maybe 2007?? So concensus is cautious about how well INTC can run
Infineon this time. And if it doesn't go well again, ARMH will take the
market share.

INTC is very stupid to sell it's wireless part in 2007 and now buyback only
a portion of the capacity with much more cash than what sold from the 2007
deal.
They major in desktops and they are dieing in the new mobile market.

It's not a wise move. The only thing that I can guess is that they didn't
have too much choice back then. Their core business (CPU) market was
squeezed by AMD and they were having major layoffs to keep profit. To sell
the sub might be the only thing they can do at the time to keep their core
business back onto the track.

Pure stupid.
After Microsoft XP, I did not have any virus problems without other anti
virus software.
I simply removed MFE from my PC/laptops right now. Everything is fine.

ARMH is already in INF's chip. INTC is not competing against ARMH in
baseband. It's competing against QCOM.
But if INTC fails, the biggest winner will be BRCM.

But almost everyone knows MFE makes one of the worst antivirus software,
most free ones are better than mcafee.

AVG is the best, highly recommend. MFE and Norton suck big time.

INTEL 在M&A的确没有好的track record;
intel流传的一件事就是有一次M&A 刚finalize后，intel问那公司的cfo说你看看我们
估计你们的增长是。。。这样的，你觉得呢？那CFO很惊讶的说：”不可能这么快啊“
不过它的确缺乏增长点了。这个semi迟早是完全commodity化的。个人认为不合理处就
是MACFEE 的premium高了点。如果要利用现在市场状况不应付这么多钱。
