WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Federal Reserve officials are considering open-
ended, smaller-scale bond purchases rather than massive bond purchases with
a finite end, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources inside the
Fed including St. Louis Fed President James Bullard. "The shock-and-awe
