the remote is very innovative when it was first out and was rated as the top
app from apple for a while.
And a lot of other companies already built some similar remote control mimic
the remote.
I also spending hours on apple stuff today, just got a new mac pro with
pretty good configuration.

I'm also syncing everything into my harmony one universal remote control. I
like having only one remote controlling everything in my living room.

you could buy an add on to your iphone, there is an application for that..
but with small hardware add on, and cost about 50 bucks? :)

I think the add-on is an IR converter and emitter. I already spent 150 on
this Harmony One and it's been working great for me. I'll stick with it.

this chinese is very used to paying $ for movies and music. I can't say I've
never used a pirated software on my pc, but 95% of all movies and music I
enjoyed in the last 5 years, I did pay for them. and I never watch more than
one movie for each ticket I bought.

apple remote comes out first if I am not wrong. announced in august 08?
g1 gmote is a copycat of the apple remote when apple remote got a lot of
good market feedback.
