Their margin is really pressured..... current bet is net operating margin
will decrease to 2.8% from 4.3% just 2 quarters ago.... that's very huge due
to their change in marketing strategy.
The free prime (Amazon student and Amazon mom) and hiring process (more cost
in R&D) will eat into short-term margin as well. I seriously doubt it can
beat estimates. However, bull stocks don't miss 2 consecutive ER, that's the
only hope now.

AMZN has super long-term potential and super fundamentals. Wall street
already see it and price it at 45 forward P/E, that's twice as much as
AAPL.
The problem is how to interpret their ER when the numbers do not look
good, especially in this ER season. Unless it is as perfect as GOOG....
The top line would beat a lot, no doubt about it. The estimates were from
pre-Kindle 3 era. Kindle 3 alone would add 0.4-0.5B to it, not mentioning
the free Prime. The bottom line is worrying people now, again, lower
Kindle margin and free prime. Even if they just keep last Q's margin, it
will be a wild beat....
