a bag has 9 pairs of gloves in the two colors red or green (a pair consist
of two gloves with the same color, left and right).
What's the minimal number of gloves if I pull out from the bag, that I
know that the gloves I pull out from bags are pairs.
There is a follow up question once we have it answered.

just know they could be in red or green.

Worst case scenario. 1 pair in red and 8 pairs in green, total 18. you take
1 glove in red and 8 in green (left or right only), that's 9. So you can
take one more to make a pair. so min is 10.

I am not sure that's what they ask.
Anyway, how about the further question, what if that they can be in two
different size?

you just don't want to give up your baozi, hahaha.
same as above. Worst case scenario. if they are all in different colors and
different sizes, they you probably need to take them all out in order to
make a pair. remember. worse case scenario.
