Job responsibility The Programming Technologies Lab of Huawei is seeking
candidates with expertise in the area of compiler implementation and
optimization. As a software engineer contractor, you will work in a highly
talented team, and are expected to contribute to the design and
implementation of a new general purpose programming language, as well as
building prototypes and production code using the new language to validate
the language feature design, implementation, and performance.
Responsibilities :
Language implementation, by involvement in the development of the compiler
core and standard library, performance evaluation and optimization across
the whole stack of language implementation. - Language design, by modifying
the language spec to better support the compiler implementation and
optimization.
Qualifications We are seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of
the following areas: - Language implementation, with experience in a
relevant area such as compiler design & optimization, IDE, tool chain,
software verification, runtime libraries; - Fluency in C/C++ - Experience w/
open-source language and compiler projects, such as Clang, LLVM, Swift,
Scala, Go. Preferred skills - Because we develop programming technology for
a variety of purposes, competence in a breadth of programming paradigms is a
plus, such as imperative and functional programming, assembly code, and
LLVM IR; - Experience with runtime system, such as memory management and
concurrent task scheduling, and in newer languages like Go, Rust, Scala, and
Swift; - Prior engagement in open-source projects, developers' community,
and/or research community
