Some companies, like MBI could benefit from the settlement. On the other
hand, it could also hurt Wells Fargo, since investors will go after the bank
for the same settlement.

盘后就能看出来。mbi受益最大，rdn/pmi有一点，mtg完全没有

I don't see this as positive for BAC. After all, they are also facing higher
capital requirement.
They still have to deal with lots of bad mortgage in House. With huge
backlog and government intervention, their lost could last for years. They
made a huge mistake for buying countrywide.
In minnesota, some housing(especially for townhouse) were selling at the 1990
's level.
That is why I am very negative on pmi/rdn/mtg and hold the short position
for RDN/MTG.
