Depression
In economics, a depression is a sustained, long-term downturn in economic
activity in one or more economies. It is a more severe downturn than a
recession, which is seen by some economists as part of the modern business
cycle.
(David Rosenberg, senior economist and strategist at
Gluskin Sheff in Toronto):
"Simply put, an economic depression occurs only once it becomes painfully
obvious that the markets and the economy are failing to respond to repeated
bouts of policy stimulus,"
虽然大多数经济学家认为像日本那样长期的depression(至今20年+)不太可能,但中期
