请教一下：我老婆的f2A 10月份排期到，i-485及相关材料提前
一天9月30号(周六)投递进chicago lock box。今天10月4号，
支票还没被存，G1145的电子通知也没有收到接收还是拒绝的
通知，这正常吗？
另外，在NVC网站，查到状态还是At NVC，没有显示visa number
available，是应该这样吗？

提前一天是9.30周六，想到投到lock box，移民局周一10.2才会打开信箱看

只是有一个问题，其他人file 485时，nvc的case number是否还是at NVC?
还是已经available了？

你这个很可能大概率会被退回
9/30就投到了，没到10/1号，RD是9/30，运气好会马上退回，运气不好，他们错误接受
了的话，反而更麻烦了，可能拖很久然后因为PD不current的原因拒了
你为啥提前一天，难道不能多等一天到10月以后收到嘛？

替你研究了一下USCIS的rules to determine RD，可以负责的跟你说，你犯了个大错误
，你的RD是9/30；现在只能等看他们怎么处理了
(1) Open In-coming Mail; Deposit Fees .
Since in-coming mail often contains fees, the in-coming mail room is a
secure area, with access limited to specified personnel. Mail should be
opened the same day it is received. When this is not possible, arrangements
must be made to record the actual date on which the mail is received from
the post office or private courier so that the receipt date can later be
recorded on the application or petition itself. The receipt date is
important to ensure fair, chronological processing and to enable efficient
case tracking. Most importantly, the receipt date may be critically
important in determining an applicant’s legal eligibility for a particular
benefit. It is important that all mail be opened; fees removed, logged and
deposited; and initial data entry completed as soon as possible.

多谢回复! 您说得对，RD很重要，RD不能在current前
我研究了一下，刚刚得出以下结论：
好像rd是打印出receipt的日期，而不是收到快递的日期
举个例子：
我翻看了以前的case, 比如我的i-130，priority date 5/23, 但
receipt date 是 5/25 这么看，pd是收到邮件的日期，rd是uscis打印receipt的日期
您觉得我这么说对吗？如果对，rd应该是uscis扫描完我老婆文件并打印出receipt的日
期，
应该在10月以后，因为9.30周六后的周一是10.2才办公

如果和绿卡结婚，结婚在拿到绿卡之后，在排期时，绿卡持有者能为配偶申请什么签证

看起来是接受了，而且日期是10/2，你可以放心了，你老婆也不用去注册白交学费了
等收到纸质的收据，发上来我可以给你确认下那个RD他们记录的哪天；目前看来问题不
大，你应该算是幸运过关的

多谢您了！新学校10.21开学，由于担心旧i-20 过期，我们上月底递交i-485前已找到
新学校
并取得了新的i-20。前天去给她续驾照，结果政府办事员说新i-20还没激活，没法续驾
照。
还说要跟州政府的公安局/dmv验证信息，让她等信

什么叫“9月30号(周六)投递进chicago lock box”？
我的理解是9月30号周六找一家开门的USPS店，寄出你们的材料。用USPS的2 Day
Priority mail也需要2个工作日。最快也要10月2日周一或3日周三寄到。难道你9月30
日之前就去邮寄了？

恭喜这样的话完全没有问题了
拿到收据，就不需要保持F1身份了，而且AOS也和F1身份想左，假如是H1B的话还可以继
续保持，F1在你交了485时候就自动失效了，F1没有dual intent，直接无视什么I20之
类的，你的身份现在就是AOS
