A Chinese manufacturing index dropped to the lowest level since February
2009, bolstering the case for fiscal or monetary loosening to support the
expansion of the world’s second-biggest economy.
The Purchasing Managers’ Index fell to 50.4 in October from 51.2 in
September, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said in a
statement today. That was lower any of 16 economists estimated in a
Bloomberg News survey that had a median forecast of 51.8. A reading above 50
indicates expansion.
不过A股还是照涨不误。

HSBC做的那个PMI更受欧美市场看重,
欧美市场对中国自己做的数据总是持怀疑态度。

谢谢指点。HSBC说的PMI增长了:
HSBC China October PMI 51.0 Vs Preliminary 51.1, September's 49.9
BEIJING -(Dow Jones)- The final HSBC China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers
Index, a gauge of nationwide manufacturing activity, rose to 51.0 in
October compared with 49.9 in September, HSBC Holdings PLC said Tuesday.
The rise in the PMI indicates that manufacturing activity in China started
to expand again, and may help assuage concerns that growth in the wider
economy is decelerating in the second half of the year as a result of
Beijing's tightening policies.
A reading below 50 indicates contraction from the previous month, while a
reading above 50 indicates expansion.
The final reading was in line with a preliminary PMI of 51.1 that HSBC
announced Oct. 24. The preliminary figure is based on 85% to 90% of
responses to HSBC's PMI survey.
"The final PMI confirms the notable improvement in China's manufacturing
activities driven by rising new business from both domestic and external
markets," said HSBC chief economist for China Hongbin Qu in a statement. "We
expect stable monetary policy with targeted easing in the coming months."
The HSBC China Manufacturing PMI is based on data compiled from monthly
replies to questionnaires sent to purchasing executives in over 420
manufacturing companies.
