以前一直不了解 以为transfer很简单
现在才知道和重新申请一遍H1B没啥区别
这些都是教训 希望后来人警醒
我的问题是如果同校的别的教授招我 是不是和异校之间的transfer是一样长时间？
还有有热心网友告诉我 如果同一个系的不同教授 则不用办理transfer 是这样吗
想再次确认一下。

你最好还是赶快找到工作，然后办O1签证，只要15天时间。
因为你有现成的EB1A的材料，办O1很简单，速度很快的，只要15天，
拿O1可以工作三年，很多学校公司都愿意办O1。

H1B的配偶拿H4签证，也不能工作（除非140通过了在等排期）。

你可以先拿到O1签证，暂时把身份保住。
然后再慢慢申请绿卡，或者再转回H1B签证（如果你愿意的话）。

如果是学校/研究所的O1，办理速度还是要看各个单位政策吧，我之前的单位办理O1要
求至少提前三个月提出申请，必须由他们的律师evaluate。现在的学校要求至少提前六
个月提交申请，也必须用他们的律师……所以前前后后并没有很省时间啊……
lz当务之急是先拿到offer，不然其余都是空谈。

求至少提前三个月提出申请，必须由他们的律师evaluate。现在的学校要求至少提前六
个月提交申请，也必须用他们的律师……所以前前后后并没有很省时间啊……

其实PCLN已经有不少人cover了，但是现在这个做法明显是庄觉得cover的人还不够多

size, $4k is not a big deal. If you cut your loss, you can use the
capital (
$140k) to make back $4k on other ideas. Life moves on and there is no
need
for you to stick to one losing stock. Obviously you are not sure whether

will be right to short PCLN. If you were sure about shorting PCLN, you
would have short more shares, instead of just 250 shares. There are many
professional traders here and they know that selling shares all the way
up is not a good idea to survive in the stock market. Even if you were

IN case that you would be right to short PCLN, PCLN suddenly drops to
$500/
share and your 40 put contracts would make you even more painful. Besides,
40
put contracts require a lot of margin (at least $200k). There is no easy
way for you to get out of this losing trap other than praying for
yourself..

现在一天个股基本动静就3-5%，没什么稀奇。兴许明天开盘一跌就能COVER也未可知。
PCLN在没创新高之前，人家做空也没什么不妥。
操作上面个人有个人的风格，5%以内还算是SCALE IN的范畴。
我操心的是这个PCLN目前的软肋：SHORT INTEREST高了，又在显著S/P附近，意外的话
会被短期迅速SQUEEZED。

Nope, there is a slim chance this stock will go to 600 coz of squeeze.
However it will drop like a stone back to 500 or even lower.
