Currently RENN is values at 2.6B market cap which is larger than SOHU's
market cap and more than half of SINA's market cap. At this valuation, even
with Facebook IPO hype, its upside space is limited. it will be lucky if it
can go above 7 and almost impossible to go above 8. I will sell my RENN
shares at this price if I have any.

SOHU is ancient history, and is at best another YHOO, and at worst will end
in the same way of AOL, excite.com, hotbot.com, etc... THE future is in real
name SNS, as proven in the US. RENN is the leader in China. The tide will
be turning slowly but surely.

RENN is not producing any profits yet. How can it be valued more than the
cash cow like SOHU and the hot SINA?

Facebook existed since 2004 and didn't produce any profit until 2010.
YHOO is also a cash cow, PE only 18 vs facebook PE 100+, why does it
not valued 100B like facebook? oh yeah because it's ancient history.

Does Facebook worth 100B in 2004? Of course no. So you need to compare RENN
with 2004's FB not today's FB.

but RENN is not 100B today neither, it's only 1.3B after cash.

I forget to mention one more thing. RENN's enviroment in China is not very
similar to FB's situation in US. Do not forget, we have QQ in China.

different sector altogether, QQ is not real name SNS (though it has
created a competitor site pengyou.com for this purpose). The usual
process is meet new people on renren.com, checkout their info/updates,
and then talk on QQ. They complement each other. (though pengyou.com
can potentially win over users in the future due to tencent's
marketing through QQ, we'll have to see about that).

Yeah, that is correct. However in US, people are doing almost everything on
FB. That's why I say RENN is not comparable with FB.

In the US, people are still not doing almost everything on FB,
they use texting instead of QQ (mostly because they lack a well made
IM tool like QQ, someone should really make one). In the US, FB users
meet new people on FB, and then they text each other.
