同事发邮件给我平时认识的同事组织10天后的baby shower，我该回复邮件给所有人么
，说谢谢啥的么，或者说点什么呢，还是只回复组织者。
第一次在美国经历这样的事，是想怎么做比较合适，或者说符合美国人的习惯。
准妈求助！！谢谢啦。
还有就是我是应该当时打开礼物呢，说些什么呢，还是怎么弄。谢谢

回信给组织者谢谢ta，然后问问你需要做什么，是不是需要准备当天的食物饮料啥的，
你自己要准备一下thankyou card结束以后发给送礼物的人。

应该谢谢他，然后问他你要准备啥，一般都不需要你准备的。
shower以后给每个送东西的人写张thankyou 卡就可以了

I have the same experience. To thanks them, we volunteer to prepare (order
some pizza) the food. In this case, you have something to do in the 'party'
at least. Our party that held in the common room,turns out better than
expected and left us a good memory too

I am just being curious, You're sure they sent the email to you to let your
know ahead of time? Just make sure they are not include you on the email
list by mistake.
Some of the US companies like to give the surprise party to their coworkers,
so they sent emails to all other coworkers but the soon to be parent cowroker. My experince is that, by the time of the baby shower, i were so surprise. And one coworker
told me, he got nervious one day, when i went to his desk to talk about work
, since his computer was on the my baby shower email, however, i told him i
never look at other's email displayed on their computer monitor.
Anyway, enjoy your presents, and you can open it at the end of the baby
shower. And remember to give a thank you card or note after the party, it is
good the card signed by you and your spouse.

只回复组织者就可以了，你什么都不需要准备，或者准备个蛋糕之类的都可以。事
后可以把baby照片或者小卡片发给所有人说谢谢。
可以准备一小段致词，礼物是需要当场打开的，念念贺卡上的话，感谢送礼物的那
个人，说你多么喜欢这个礼物神马的。

很多时候无法做到完全surprise，因为有些时候需要准爸妈列一个想要的list啊，不过
还是装作很surprise就是了。

I were really surprise by the baby shower actually, since my coworkers just
prepared me the Chinese buffet, cake and a gift card. So no one had ask me
about my wish list. They did a good job of covering up, even my best buddy at work did not mention anything about the surprise party to me, and she was the major party planner.And my two of my female bosses, who have kids, gave me NB diapers and girl outfits as gifts as well.

他们把邮件CC给我了，而且组织的那个人提前跟我商量了合适的时间，以免那天我不再
办公室，有appointment啥的。虽然不是惊喜，还是很高兴得。

我们公司搞的完全是surprise。每个人大概给了20刀左右的东西或者gift card。事后
我给了每人一个thank you note。

In past baby shower parties occurred in my company, we invited spouse as
well, as the other surprise factor. Some couple will give a thank you card
to each person who signed the congrats card since usually whoever signed the
card were the ones contributed $$. :)
