看铺天盖地的竞选演说，大家都说投资收益只要交15%的税，这是咋算的啊？
我从炒股到现在，从来都是把收益值放到总收入里面，加上自己的工资最后的税收快30

Long term tax rate depends on the tax bracket you are in.
For 2011, if you are in <=15% bracket (Taxable income <67900), you pay $0
tax for long term gain.Otherwise,15% tax. But there will be a major change
from 2013, namely 10% and 20% tax rate. See the following link for details.
If I knew this earlier, I should have sold some of my long-term positions in
2011 without paying any tax.
