The successful way of investment is to buy a good company and never sell.
One reason is that you will never miss any rise. Another reason is you never
pay a cent of tax on it.
Don't worry if your capital is small, you should persuade relatives and
friends to join you if the performance is good. Yes Warren Buffett did that.
You're not a professional investor spending 10 hours on it every weekday,
right? Do something more valuable and start your own business. Then you find
yourself safe on both economics and finance.

My standard on good company may be different with yours.
A good company should not rely on any single person.

说时容易做时难啊，如果当年买了MS，GS，熊丝邓丝（BCS），现在很辛苦啊。

所以要两条腿走路。只依靠投资是不够的，必须进入实业阶段。这时候投资知识更有用。

investment is not the same as marriage, is it?
they do have one thing in common though, that is, every marriage will
eventually die since everybody dies, the same destiny of every company.

实业是投资的一种，除了资金，连自己的专业劳动也投资进去。
两个都不容易。但我们在讲success是不是。

垄断企业还是创新公司

Investment is not marriage, but marriage is a kind of investment. Why? We
like something, contribute something and hope to obtain something in future.
--- Isn't investment?
For clear, we class investment into two classes, passive investment and
active investment. Marriage is a kind of active investment because one has
to contribute her/his time and labor.
For the destiny, yes even the universe will die. But there is some time and
something to do before one would die, right? If one does nothing good, he
would die earlier. I don't mind if someone wants to suicide like many other
guys did, but I choose to live as long as possible.

You're right. 真正的好公司即使上市了，也被巴菲特买断而退出股市。而我们都还蒙
在鼓里。
