The “tug of war” between Obama and Boehner “reveals nothing new but Obama
holds better cards,” said Gross in a Twitter message Friday. “Tax rates
on high income and capital [are] going up.”
Gross said this is negative for riskier assets, adding that he favors
municipal debt and Treasury bonds in the intermediate sector–those maturing
in five years to seven years.

从投资理念上看，他跟Buffett就是死敌。我个人更认同Buffett。

Treasury Bonds in 5 years to seven years yields less then 1.5%.
That does not make any sense at all.

投资界，我只敬重这二位：
Ray Dalio
Bill Gross
而以Bill Gross为最 - 你切实可以跟从他的基金而获得超出市场的回报（excess
return).
Ray Dalio - 对个人而言，进门门槛太高，但是给机构投资者全天候的高回报。
至于Buffett之流，那是吃独食的典范。他的荣华富贵，和我等没有一毛的干系。。。
你要认为你可以复制巴肥的这一套，就当我什么都没说。

我是想说，买进美国5到7年的国债一点不Make Sense，因为收益率实在太低啊。

Treasure is the most safe place to park the money, say if you have 100
million, even 1% will net you 1 million a year.
I do believe most wealth people also want to protect their wealth against
inflation.
He has a very valid point for some super wealth people who want to park the
money.

for wealthy families and institional clients who are risk aversed....they
are all chasing 5-10 years even if the yield is less than 1% because they
are backed by US govt. FDIC only guranteed $250k per account.

But, 1% is only 1%. You can have many different ways (and combinations) to
get that 1%.
