西对大多数投资者可不一定那么了解。
反正平时也要读大量的投资资讯，利用业余时间顺便写点中国视角的东西，一是看看我
们自己能否消化这些信息，二来是积累我们自己的投资理念。
现在这点顺便的稿费恐怕连English Proofread的费用还无法cover。当然有点象征性的
稿费也是我们想在SeekingAlpha上写东西的动力之一。就和在未名上赚伪币一个心情。

一个档次。
这个也是我投资启蒙的主要网站。我也是去年6月份刚刚开始学习投资，新手上路，请

Very nice written.
Regarding Chinese small cap, do you have methods to cross check the accuracy
of their financial statements. For me, this is one of my biggest hurdles
for these type of stocks.
In the last couple of months, I have seen LPH, and YONG gone busted when I
was paying attention to them.

I typically spend days even weeks read all the company's SEC filings, trying
to find red flags, eye-popping top line growth, high A/R or Inventories,
Above average gross margin, no-name auditor, high CFO turnover, limited
disclosure of customers/suppliers, etc. For LPH, high growth and
unbelievably stable gross margin (Do you find any companies in the oil
business having gross margin as stable as LPH quarter after quarter?)

2000 - 暑假第一次作Intern, 拿到钱的第二天进两只Internet 相关股票。战战兢兢，
和第一次约女孩子的感觉差不多吧。
一周后的某一早晨，其中一只狂跌~30%，果断清仓。几个月后发现股票退至粉单市场交
易，从此不知其所终。
再几周后，另一只在有起有落中也跌了~20%，于是。。。初恋以彻底失败告终。从此专

insight。从FA角度看没有展现出对两个公司业务上的任何了解，也没有解释出为什么
这个收购价格是合理的。通篇文章都是在想像，而没有任何solid论据或论证。
最后给的建议也非常幼稚。对一个被收购的公司价格的细小差异，没有任何理由相信会
出现竞争的前提下，居然建议就着苍蝇肉搞options strategy。
内容上的空洞和对细枝末节的追求是这篇文章的两大致命伤。
我当然理解这是你在SA上的第一篇文章。我这么浇你冷水你要觉得不是那么回事儿就算
了。觉得有一点道理也算我没白打这么多字儿。

这篇文章的主旨是给SA的读者一些中国人的角度来看待这个交易。所以，我们没有从TA
的角度来写。当然这也不是我们的长处。
您提的几点有道理，但不是我们这篇的初衷。
第一篇文章以探路为主，无法面面俱到。

Congratulations on your first article, very informative. If the buyout goes
through, the new company should take a leading position in China's pork
industry, maybe even the whole food industry. And the food industry should
benefit as China's economy transforms from foreign export to domestic
consumption.
