这个是预料之中的事。CNN也只是说OBAMA要求短期更长，到明年一月份，在此期间政府
开门。两边不吵到16号晚不会罢休的。
不过有一件事基本可以确定，共和党这次输的短裤都得当掉。

At current pace, Dem could win midterm next year.

Well, I cannot say it again. Dem should also be responsible for their
stubborness in this standstill. They want the Republicans to pass a clean
bill as a prerequisite for negotiation. As I mentioned previously, a fair
negotiation itself should include no conditions. The way Dem asked for
basically adds a condition, which is against their own logic. Both parties
should be blamed for their tactics, which as a result, hurt all but ordinary
civilians.

government employee is happy to not working but get paid.
if i am government employee that get furlough, i wish it could go on since i
can go fishing while get paid.
