even for a cash account, if you use settled money 买股票, 可以当天买当天卖

I guess you could trade with unsettled money but there are limits for how
many times you can trade during a fixed time of period for these types of
accounts..

IRA就别折腾了，估计你水平还不怎么样。我也不敢折腾401k里的钱
