You should talk to an IRS agent first,and explain to them your case. More
importantly, to find out if you indeed owed them money back in 2002. If their
record indicates you do, but you think otherwise, you should present them with
your proof. You should also ask them to put a hold on your account first, so
you will have time to collect your information.
The next thing I would do is to get the IRS agent's ID number, and write or
fax him a letter with the copies of all your 2002 W-2, any other 2
