Hi everyone,
I have some tax questions to consult with you.
My visa is H1-B and my wife is H4. We filed 2007 1040 jointly and only I
received $600 economic stimulus payment. Why? Can we receive recovery rebate
credit?
On my salary payment, why is my marital status labeled as single for federal
tax purpose and married for state? I have been in H1-B status for 4 years
and we have been married for many years. When can I ask payroll to change
the status to married for both federal and state tax pur

with a new form W4 and send it to your payroll department.
