My wife and I live in different states.
Both of us are RA.
We have two kids.
Can we file seperately and both claim as head of household?

不行。你们这种情况两人都不能claim head of household
如果你们这么做，也许也不会被查到。但是这样做是逃税嫌疑的。

Well, one of us can claim head of household. I got confirmed form IRS.

yes. but not both. and i don't think you get more tax back by claim as head
of household than jointly

well, if you claim as head of household, not married filing separately, you
may qualify for EIC.
