Thank you for your inquiry dated February 27, 2009, regarding the
qualification for taking the Recovery rebate credit. We apologize for the
delay in providing you a timely response.
As a dual status alien for 2008, to be eligible for the recovery rebate
credit on a federal income tax return, the individual must be a United
States citizen or Resident Alien at the end of 2008 and either did not
receive any economic stimulus payment at all for 2007 or only received a

太搞笑了，忍不住打电话过去问，想找回回我信的那个MR. HALL。结果总机的人说不可能凭ID找得到。于是把我tran到负责CREDIT的部门。结果他们说他们不理解DUAL-STATUS的概念，只知道没有硬性要求必须entire year，于是把我transfer到懂得dual-status的部门，但dual的人听到我问RRC,又想把我tran回RRC。现在on-hold中。。。我还是那句话，file as resident alien for the entire year，管他呢！
