手册上分明说 "\appendix generates no text"，为什么我用

的时候还是会有 Appendix 字样在 Reference 字样的前面？

\appendix does not generate any text. In book.cls and report.cls
it changes the definition of \chappapp from "Chapter" to "Appendix"
and resets the chapter counter. In article.cls it resets the section
counter. (In either case resetting the counter means zero the counter
and switch to uppercase letters A, B, C, ...).
You'll need to tell us what document class you are using and whether
the \bibliography command or the "thebibliography" environment have
been modified to sort out why you get bot
