统计分析.对建生物的数据库,以及网页工具比较熟悉.
现在工作主要是做人的exome sequencing部分,用于癌症以及遗传疾病的检测.

号称看一大堆大众名著的人，其实多半都是囫囵吞枣，不知所以。
真正爱读书的人，绝对不会乱读书，只会按照自己的喜好去有所读有所不读。
而真正有文化的人，也不是只读书做个书橱的人，而是追求光明和新知的人。
读书，是为了精神愉悦和思想受益，而不是为了消磨时间和作为谈资甚至show资。
饥不择食读（翻）了那么多水平参差不齐、适应不同口味的大众名著也就算了，还拿出
来一本本地数，很有品么？

Can anyone recommend a latex software used under linux Ubuntu?
I tried TexMaker but cannot compile.
I used to use WinEdit under windows.

忘和大家说了~~
这是本地一个小拍得东西，第一次出来。老外直接给做成灯台了。
我觉得有点意思，不过看着有点新，微残。
请各位大师们指点指点~~我准备过几天去看看预展~~

噗嗤，真不留情面啊
不过苏轼好像提到读书方法跟你讲的类似，就是读一类书，坚持，读到底，一定有收获
。比乱七八糟读很多把自己搞晕强。大概做事也是如此。
比如我吧，我就喜欢读一类的作品。唉，逼格瞬间提升，太不好意思了。

难道你连tex安装包都没装？Ubuntu默认不带tex安装包。

Tex package: TexLive
Editor: Emacs (with shortcuts)
or, vi, then pdflatex filename.tex

Thanks for inputs.
I installed Latex package by using
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-full
However, when I tried to use Texmakers to do the quickbuild, there is still
no .dvi file generated. I can see the .aux and .log files at the same
directory.

初学者的话gedit + Latex Plugin
用起来很傻瓜,和windows底下的ide差不多
能够满足大多数需求
emacs和vi如果都不会用, 光这两个就够学一阵子了.
但是如果不满足初学者水平的话, emacs 23 + AUCTeX , 很酷的

Installed Latex Plugin, and also enabled it by going to (GEdit > Edit >
Preferences). texlive also installed.
When open Gedit, all latex menus are there. But don't compile, why? Thanks

gedit挺好的editor
不过我实在搞不懂你要在程序里compile干吗
你既然run linux，开个terminal
latex一下不就结了
latex xxx.tex
dvipdf xxx.dvi
or dvips -o xxx.ps xxx.dvi
如果没eps figure
直接pdflatex xxx.tex也行

看了一下GEdit里LaTeX Plugin的默认设置(Preference->Plugins->Latex Plugin->
Build Profiles), 看看编译按钮的默认命令.
我这里默认使用的是rubber,
所以你可能要考虑一下安装rubber apt-get install rubber
rubber是个很好用的LaTex编译脚本, 很智能的帮你编译tex, bib ,转换eps->pdf啥的

用rubber吧, 这个脚本一个命令就够了,
要pdflatex的话,直接 rubber -d foo.tex
就啥都有了, eps 图片文件也帮你自动转成pdf了

我来回答一下为什么要在程序（shell脚本？）里面编译。
现在很多人写文章都有一些虚构成分在里面，有尊严的人为了证明自己的文章真实可靠
，通常都会提供仿真源码，做得比较好的一般一个脚本就把程序编译-〉运行-〉输出数
据-〉画图（gnuplot）-〉LaTeX文章编译都完成了，这样的文章给人以最大的可信度，
但是挺费时间，这浪费的时间，要怪那些开造假先河的人。

I checked the settings: (Edit ->Preference->
Plugins ->Gedit Latex Plugin 0.2 rc1 -> configure Latex Plugin ->Tools->
Latex Pdf Properties -> command : rubber --inplace --maxerr -1 --short --
force --warn all --pdf "$filename" gnome-open "$shortname.pdf"
rubber also installed by default.
But still cannot compile. Simply no response when press the button.

你的命令行到底能不能用
如果那个都不行的话，估计是你的texlive设置问题了
另外既然用linux了，我觉得还是该熟悉起terminal的用法

Yes. I can use the method you said and got the result.
But why gedit doesn't work directly?

I use gvim +vim-latex,
a simple makefile can do all the compiling things

If you can see the .log and .aux files, it is
at least trying to compile.
Save and compile this file:
\documentclass{minimal}
\begin{document}
test
\end{document}
and post the .log here.
