Postdoctoral Fellow position in Cancer Biology
The Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the Department of
Pharmacological Science at Stony Brook University. The positions will be
under the supervision of Dr. Chia-Hsin Chan in a newly established
laboratory and the appointment will starts in April, 2014. The primary
research will focus on developing novel therapeutic interventions for the
treatment of cancer stem cells and cancer cells. By using molecular biology,
mouse model, and biochemical approaches, our goal is to identify essential
regulators in cancer stemness, progression and relapse, and to translate
that knowledge to clinic. Research directions and publications of the

We are seeking for motivated, collaborative individuals to join our group. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, first author publications in international peer- reviewed journals and experience in one of the following areas: stem cell biology, molecular biology, cell biology, metabolism, signal transduction and animal models.
