hi, all
how to install
a file named as
`` bash-2.0.3-sol7-sparc-local''
into a SUN workstation?

Probably, you need run 'pkgadd' as root
you can use vi to edit it, if there are some lines such as'PACKAGE=...' at the
beginning, it's a package file.

thank you ,you are right
I first file it, and find it is a plain english file
then i try to
pkgadd -d /PATH/bash-2.0.3-sol7-sparc-local
then I amusing bash now, the feeling is great.
much bettrger then csh, hehe.
