用rlogin登陆到别的主机上,将DISPLAY设置为本机hostname:0.0, 运行realplay,
图象就可以显示在本机上了.但是声音却没有,而且显示,can not open audio
device. 怎么解决呢?

Because that's the way it is. There is no remote audio.

"#ssh host" will automatically set DISPLAY hostname:0.0 for
you.
quota from one other's post in our cs.system NG.
If you really want to share sound over the network,
you might
look into downloading Icecast <http://www.icecast.org> and
the XMMS
LiveIce plugin
<http://star.arm.ac.uk/~spm/software/liveice-xmms.tar.gz>.
The
plug-in allows you to send what you're listening to in XMMS
directly
to the Icecast server, which then streams the sound to any
machine

谢谢,但是那个icecast server是怎么回事呢,是自己把一台sun station当做server,
还是icecast organization有一个公共的server?
是前者的话,要怎么才能把sun station设置为server呢?

sorry, I never tried that. but as to my understand, you will set up a
broadcast server on one of your station, the client ends can listen to
it via XMMS (winamp ported to Unix box) and any software that supports
streaming. SuperDecoder2000 (for windows box) can also work as icecase
server.
I am not sure how you need to share the audio. But if you are
running a windowsNT/2k terminal sever, you may run as client with
a third-party Citrix ICA client to drive the local sound card on
windows/unix
