I upload a file into a remote server using ftpcommand.
how could I change the permisson in ftp>
it seems I can not use chmod command in ftpprocess.
thanks!

You probably have to telnet or ssh to that server to change the permission of
the file since ftp is just for "file transfer".

besides it , there is no way to do it?
I remember that if i use ws_ftp or something, i could
change the permission directly.
what about in command line?

try
sitecmd chmod ...
or
account ...
your ftp client may not implement them though.

if you use ncftp, you can change the attr directly with
the command chmod.
