debug your program. you don't want to simply discard the core.

catch SIGSEGV?

of course.
but simetimes, after you've sumbitted a set of jobs, you want to walk away..
the nightmare could be one of them crashes due to some unknown failure,
and generetes a hug core, to exhaust your disk quota.. then... all other
jobs crash..
