很奇怪阿，我可以用cterm上mit bbs，
但是在运行命令打telnet eve.***.edu不可以了，那是学校的unix系统。
但是我roommate的机器可以。我就是因为
这个问题重装机器的，可是重装了也不行，

start--->run--->telnet, 输入o,然后是bbs.mit.edu
o后回车。你就看见该怎么继续了。

faint,
can telnet bbs.
but could not telnet to **.**.edu (unix system).
however, telnet it in another computer is ok.

make sure the computer you are telneting has telnet service running.
most unix systems on campus net are converting to ssh and shutting down
telnet. you could tell me the host name of the computer and let me have
a try.

if other computers can telnet the server, the server is up and telnet
server is running.
can you tell us the error message? better yet, tell us whether you
can ping the host or ping the ip address of the host.

no any error message at all, then the program windows closed.
and the server doesn't allow to ping.
