My wife and I are both J1 visitor, for 4 years to now. Her waiver has been
approved; I got a favorable recommendation from DOS recently. Meanwhile, I
got an offer. The employer is trying to apply for H1B for me, which is not
quite safe for me since my J1 ends on Jun. 1st and I don't want leave US
at this point.
My question is: can I do a J1 to J2 transfer with letter from DOS, or do I
have to wait for the final approval? Please refer me to the original
regulations if possible1

EAD明年2月底到期，但是LP的J1被学校延长到明天5月底，
想知道我什么时候应该申请EAD卡的延长？
从申请到拿到新的EAD，还需要等2～3个月吗？

如果现在就开办的话，pp办h1b应该没啥问题
