12月29日上海H1B返签被check，早定了1月9日的返美机票，没几天了，看来要推迟机票
。请问：
（1）我一定要在1月9日之前和航空公司联系改机票吗？
（2）我也不知道check什么时候会结束，也就不知道新的返美日期，像我这种情况怎
么和航空公司解释？
（3）如果我过了1月9日才和航空公司联系，原来的机票会不会作废？非常感谢！

1) Yes, you should contact the airline at least 24 hr before your flight
time.
2). Tell them the fact and ask them what is their policy on your ticket if
you need to change it.
3). Yes. If you do not tell them, then your ticket expires when the schedule
flight is gone.
