Microscopy, a super-resolution microscopy tech, which allows resolution of
~20nm. The reason this is a big deal is that current biological and
chemical research are always in need of higher resolution of microscopy, and
a lot of scientists, especially biologists need this. STORM typically works
combined with PALM, giving better resolution. To be fair, Zhuang is just a
physicist, the principles or mechanisms behind STORM are relatively simple(
every college student in engineering or science will find it easy to
understand ). However, when one thing is used by more and more scientists,
it is gonna be a different story.

今天听了庄的报告。。原理很容易懂,讲的也很清楚。。但是其实实验上应该是有非常
多的困难,而且数据量应该也非常大。。。
所谓一招鲜,吃遍天了。。
她能做到别人做不到的,并且把这个应用到很多方面,自然就NB了。。
