tried to figure out why she couldn't print out my ticket. Finally, she
said, "Oh... You're flying to Peking - I thought you were flying to
Beijing. The Chicago to Peking flight was canceled at 5:00 this morning."
Luckily, AA did a good job of rebooking me for a flight tomorrow on UA.

hmm, What AA's trying to do is very fishy. The time slot must have been assigned long time ago, yet it kept quiet and tried to make a big splash by taking reservations and then canceling the flights at the last minute to stir up populist pressure on China.
I wish the Chinese officials knew what AA's doing, but as always, I can only "wish", as the stupid Chinese officials will once again bow to the American dirty tricks.

不会吧。 国际上的惯例这段时间是不飞的。 机场也有空中管制， 晚上12点以后到凌
晨5点飞机几乎没有的。 而且中国不允许RED EYE飞机的。

24小时开放的机场可以啊。比方说国泰香港飞纽约最早的就是凌晨起飞，还有日航从芝
加哥返航的飞机，不多但是也没有这种惯例
