Hometown is where you grew up. It's different with 籍贯, which really
refers to where your ancestor came from even you never lived or visited that
place.

比如ancestry有没有动词格式？类似的不用短语表达！

At least I'm not aware of it. The closest verb I can think of are -
originate, root. But I don't think those are appropriate in the context
here. There's a culture difference in languages, that in many times it's
hard to find a word-by-word translation.
Maybe someone else can chime in for a better word.
