There is no week in Chinese originally and was introduced in around 1900s.
So what is the closest to that concept that marks the work/rest cycle? Does
anybody know?

Thanks. That sounds right. Do you know which day of the month are the
starting day of Xun in lunar calendar? Are they 10th, 20th and 30th, or more
arbitrary? I guess there are no names for each of the days in the 10 day
period, right?
