考虑要不要卸掉vista重装xp - 未名空间MITBBS历史存档

新买的t61, 1G Memory, 装的vista home premium, 发现开机时间超长，而且新开任何
的program都很慢，屏幕会灰色几秒钟让选择yes, cancel. 有些受不了这个等待时间，
以前用512的memory，xp都没这么慢，我后悔当初选了vista.
想想怎么地vista也有些进步吧，毕竟是新版本，别跟我说就是看起来fancy一点点。
问问大家是不是值得卸掉vista重装xp，毕竟thinkpad很恶心，任何安装盘都没带，网
上只看到了drivers的下载，没看到怎么下载操作系统安装盘，不知道用以前dell带的
xp可不可以？

1. dell带的不可以
2. 从lenovo网上找不到这种安装盘
3. 2G memory也快不了,而且目前的vista电源管理部分可能有问题.
据说对风扇寿命有影响.
4. 进步还是不少的,但现阶段可能主要表现出来的是兼容性问题.
5. 网上随便找个IBM的OEM xp就可以装.
6. 多说一句,从帖子看,你的T61配置不怎么样

把aero关掉，再添1G内存

首先大多数厂家都不给安装盘了，其次thinkpad把vista的安装DVD放在硬盘上了

据说是电源管理部分问题导致风扇在不需要的时间也保持转动,我没敢长时间尝试,所以
无法验证.

任何
间，
这个显然根aero没什么关系,是UAC的对话框. 而且如果灰几秒显然是显卡不够强.
觉得performance不够好,可以关了aero,砍掉UAC,杀了没用的service,卸载不用的
随机软件.比如T6x的那个磁盘监视...
。

aero把什么东西都弄慢掉，也不算矛盾//hehe
～～～～你说diskeeper还是windows search？
如果是x61的话，DVD给了也白给。其实有个2G的u盘也就可以装了//hehe

其实更vista没关系，是ibm一堆程序造成的。
你可以用oem xp或oem vista重新干净安装并tune up，我觉得后者比前者还快。

aero不会使系统变慢. 我的T60经过优化后开着aero只用了不到500M内存. (机器是2G的
内存). 我以前在版上贴过图, 呵呵. 同样的, XP经过优化后只用200M内存.
关键是启动时自动加载了很多不需要的程序和服务.
现在我的vista u开机从按下电源到出现桌面为40-60秒,关机为15到30秒.

卸吧卸吧，不论是vista还是xp, 只要能干活, 用的舒服就行了

有aero会慢点，不过真的没lz说的那么需要几秒钟，呵呵。
另外如果用lenovo的恢复盘，会自动装那个diskeeper，windows search没那么狠。
俺不是用X61，不过据观察以前的同事，要么有底座，要么是usb口combo/移动硬盘来装
系统，照说DVD也不会白给。

不知道你注意过没有，lenovo出厂有些系统调整的批处理类的东西，从我感觉看，磁盘
性能要比单vista安装要好不少。可惜后来装了XP，没继续研究。

hehe. just google something like "activation", "OEM" and so on. You can even
let Lenovo logo appears on you system properties and looks better than what
Lenovo does.

for vista, we also need a software licence certificate and relative SLIC
table in ACPI, without these, the product key is nothing.
PS, lenovo does supply a hidden partion for installing/recovering operation
system, besides this, a DVD media(for installing 32bit Vista Business
english version) is shipped with my thinkpad package. It's so interesting
that so many guys never get such a disc, and I don't know why :(

If you check the brand certification and the OEM key they shipped with your
machine, and compare with what's spread on the web, you'll see my points. :)

actually, it's different with the keys spread on internet, before ordered my
new leptop, I got 2 sets of vista key/cert/slic, but none of them matches
mine.
Anyway, I got a legal copy of vista, although now I'm running XP...

不推荐卸载VISTA ，　毕竟是正版的操作系统，当然只要隐藏分区不破坏的话，是可以
恢复的。　我的VAIO 和你的配置差不多，我选择装双系统。
IBM好像提供thinkpad的XP驱动，SONY就什么都不给。。。所以你改成双系统应该比我
容易的多，我还要自己破解VISTA 的驱动。

backup your original activation, after clean install, restore. I just did it

you can use the recovery dvd made by yourself to fully recoover the system
to the factory status. Delete the hidden partition is not a problem at all.
I just did the clean install and deleted the hidden service partition. now
it works much better, though not so satisfactory as xp and linux. btw, vista
really sucks. I regret so much for choose the vista.
