记住一定要启用smartdrv
之类的驱动，
不然文件就能靠两三个小时。

If you have a bare OS, like only a Windows startup disk, you don't have
smartdrv run, then it may take you seveval hours to let setup program
copying files to hard drive.

I installed WinMe first, then in Win Me run win2k's setup
in harddisk, it only need 40 min for all installation.
If I have nothing in HD, just start the PC using win98's
start disk, then run setup in the harddisk, need about
50 min. to complete.
never met this problem.

呵呵，现在的年轻人都不知道什么是smartdrv了。
不过其实这已经不是一个很大的问题了，除非你还使用PP100+8M+2XCDROM+DOS。
现在的机器copy文件决不会用上两三个小时，再说开始安装的时候只copy
一小部份文件就重启，然后就肯定是有cache机制的了。想一想看，直接从
光盘启动安装也不用两三个小时啊。

ft，才想起来什么叫smartdrv，呵呵，dos的命令嘛。
95年左右整天打交道的东西，那时好象装光驱还是一门
学问呢，呵呵，二倍速的光驱都是连在声卡上的。
真是faint呀，光顾想98和2000的命令，把基本的都忘了，
又丢了一把人 :(
