有router还用ICS不是脱裤子放屁吗？
你要非想的话，先用一台机器连router，别的什么都不连，
然后按router的manual进到config里，把DHCP disable,
change router IP to something other than 192.168.0.1
better something like 192.168.1.1
connect everything and try again.
BTW, what IP you get for NIC1 on ICS host?

and do NOT connect NIC2 to router internet port! use a LAN
port...

那么请教大侠到底应该杂么链接啊？
有没必要用双网卡呢？
是否就是“Cable Modem -> Router -> 分流各机器”这么简单？
弱弱的问：究竟啥么是hub呀？俺只有一个router，不能用来做hub么？

就这么简单啦.
router可以当HUB用,但何必呢.至于怎么用,4shi老师好象已经给出了解答

原先就是这么联的（Cable Modem->Router->分流），后来看乐XP的介绍，说是各电脑直
接与Internet （通过Router）这种做法不可取，因为局域网共享的文件会有潜在的安全
问题，容易被网络上其他人看到。
而建议比较好的做法是：使用ICS HOST，安装双网卡（Cable Modem->ICS
Host->Router->分流），其他机器通过ICS HOST与Internet联结。
那么是否实际上没有必要这样做呢？

an NAT router is not hub. NAT router is naturally a very good
firewall and protects all computers behind it.
in your config, the ICS host is exposed to internet directly
and is very unsafe.
modem->router->computers is best choice, simple and very secure.
your computer is NOT directly connected to internet.

as I said.
no
yes
a router could work as a hub. but router has more function than
a hub, especially is a very secure firewall.
