help! Explorer.exe didn't start

When I login window xp, I can only see the blue screen!!
Explorer.exe didn't started automatically.
How to fix it?
PLs Help.

hit ctrl-alt-delete and then when task manager pops up.. goto file-->new task
and type in explorer and run it
