I am not going to judge your boss here, because I can only hear your side of
the story. If you think your boss does not see your good work, you need to
write something down, explain what you have done. Give pros and cons to
different options and then it should be easy to see why you made the choice.
Certainly this is time consuming and you cannot do it on every little task,
but do it for some big decisions. It only shows you can get the job done, but
also shows you know why you did it and you ca
