Not really. Master with four years experience is good enough to be engineering
three. In company like Oracle, not good reputation for their compensation,
engineering three can make about 90 to 98k. So, I don't think his salary is
not reasonable. As long as you keep on jumping, 6 figure salary for that much
experience is not a reach.
Also, it's not just about how many years. I know a lot of guys having 10/20
years experience, however, they don't know jack. What they do is going to work
at 10 and

If your expenrience in China does count, then you are IV or V. If not, you are
a III for sure. That's not the problem. Even for V, you can not make tons of
money and be rich. You still need to work till 60 years old. hehe
It really depends on what you are interested to do and what you are good at. I
think there are different career pathes, e.g.
1. architect
pure tech path. You can make a lot of money if you can be a good architect.
2. management
try to improve your communicatio and organization

I believe your next step is more a career shift than a natural extension from
what you are doing.
Starting coding from 85 is both a great thing to mention and a heavy burden
when it comes to computer sciences... Those new kids on the market don't know
the old shit but they are more adapted to newer technologies, and when you
grow older you will have less and less energy to learn.
Therefore, my suggestion is, try gaining some managerial responsibility, build
your own team, shy away from basic cod

My 2 cents brother, about improving your english skill and also about getting
involved in the working environment.
English is just a language, a tool for you too communicate with your peers. I
don't understand why you give up so easily.
Don't be too serious about yourself. Try to blend in and get to know your
co-workers and boss well. This is rather a personality issue. According to
your own words, "And the only things I want to do are things like writing spec
and learning how to do technical p

MBA,financial
engineering,law
