General Description: Work collaboartively across functions to identify
opportunities for improved product design, then use signal processing
techniques, statistical analysis and modeling to validate, and mature new
system level algorithms that improve product performance, time to market and
yield. S/he must produce clear documentation for implementing new designs,
work with firmware, NAND and manufacturing experts to integrate, validate
and launch ideas into production. Individuals will own implementation of
new features from from conception, through design, and into production.
Skills: The job requires an ability to work across functional boundaries,
perform complex analysis, and communicate ideas clearly. A good candidate
will have an MS or PhD in EE or CS with a strong background in statistical
analysis, signal processing, communication system design, and programming.
The ideal individual must be self-motivated, have demonstrated ability to
work well with people and a proven desire to work as a team member. Ability
to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet
deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal
skills
