I'd say this is a bad design of XML:) You should have used enumerated attributes, ie. limit the choice of ACK to YES or NO in a DTD. For your question, I don't know how to do it in XSL

Agree. Without definition, XML is just a string. How does parser know "Yes" is a word, not "Ye" or "Yes/" is a word? You have to define it in DTD or schema. ~{!>~} ~{TZ~} amnesia (Nothing But NET) ~{5D4sWwVPLa5=~}: ~{!?~}
