17国集体喊话：推迟排放！

Pacific island nations are urging Japan to delay the release of water from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear power plant over fears fisheries will be contaminated, the Pacific Island Forum (PIF) said on Wednesday.

The PIF, a regional bloc of 17 island nations, argues the release of the water could have a major impact on fishing grounds that island economies rely on, and where up to half of the world's tuna is sourced. 

‍"Our region is steadfast that there be no discharge until all parties verify it is safe," PIF Secretary General Henry Puna said on Wednesday at a livestreamed public meeting in Suva, Fiji.

日本政府近日称，“今年春夏之际”开始向海洋排放经处理过的福岛第一核电站核污染水。

这一决定引发日本国内和韩国、菲律宾等诸多国家的反对和质疑，各方表示希望日方认真回应各方关切，以负责任态度寻找核污染水的妥善处置办法，而不是一味强推排海方案。

"The opposition to the discharge of treated water into the ocean has not changed in the slightest," Masanobu Sakamoto, president of the National Fisheries Cooperative Federation of Japan, said in a statement, demanding a serious response from the ‍government.

日本广播协会电视台2020年底一项民调显示，“反对”和“比较反对”将过滤后的核污染水稀释到国家标准后排放入海的人占51%。《朝日新闻》2021年初发布的民调显示，55%的被调查者反对将核污染水处理后排放入海。

韩国民间环保组织“环境运动联合”能源气候局局长安哉训接受新华社记者采访时说，对于日方依旧执意单方面推进核污染水排海“感到非常担忧”。他强调，核污染水即使经过再多净化，也仍会残留氚等难以过滤清除的放射性物质，因此“直接将核污染水倾倒入海是极其不负责的”。
