熊猫“丫丫”何时回家？最新回应来了！

Chinese netizens have been calling for the immediate return of Ya Ya, a female giant panda on loan to the Memphis Zoo in the US. According to a volunteer who frequents the Memphis Zoo, Ya Ya is suspected of malnutrition, diarrhea and zoochosis, in addition to extensive skin disorders.

据网友透露，“丫丫”患上了严重的皮肤病，毛发斑秃得厉害，毫无刚来美国时圆滚滚的样子。

孟菲斯动物园官网曾解释称，“从表型上讲，这不是源于它的营养，而是它的家族遗传。总的来说，‘丫丫’还患有慢性皮肤和皮毛疾病，这与它的免疫系统相关，并受到激素波动的影响。这种情况不会影响它的生活质量，但偶尔会让它的毛发看起来稀疏散乱。”

According to the Memphis Zoo, phenotypically speaking, this does not stem from her nutrition, but her familial genetics. In conclusion, Ya Ya also lives with a chronic skin and fur condition which is inherently related to her immune system and directly impacted by hormonal fluctuations.

The zoo said that this condition does not affect her quality of life but does occasionally make her hair look thin and patchy. The condition is closely monitored by our animal care team and veterinary staff.

“丫丫”脱毛等健康问题是否和遗传有关？它是否还有“亲戚”生活在北京动物园？对此，北京动物园游客服务中心工作人员表示，北京动物园应该没有“丫丫”的“亲戚”了，现在以大熊猫“萌萌”家族成员为主，遗传问题还需向动物业务管理部了解。

据报道，知情人士称，目前中国动物园协会已派遣专家前往美国，主要目的是协商“丫丫”回国的相关事宜。该人士还表示，如果4月7日合同到期前，能把“丫丫”回国的所有手续办理完成，按时回国甚至是提前回国都是有可能的。

A person familiar with the situation said that veterinarians and animal-keeping experts from the CAZG have left for the United States to handle Ya Ya's return procedures, adding that if all procedures for Ya Ya to return to China can be completed before the contract expires on April 7, returning on time or even earlier is possible.

Ya Ya is set to return in April after her loan agreement expires on April 7. Ya Ya and Le Le joined the Memphis Zoo in 2003 and have been the zoo's stars ever since.

The giant pandas Le Le and Ya Ya came to the zoo in 2003 and were slated to return to China this year after the end of the loan agreement with the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens(CAZG). However, the giant panda Le Le died unexpectedly on Feb 1, according to the Memphis Zoo. 

志愿者程程近日再次前往孟菲斯动物园，大熊猫区域只剩下毛色发黑发黄，消瘦到脸部凹陷的“丫丫”，它行为有些刻板，有时舔着嘴唇求食，有时则长时间盯着监控探头。

程程将“丫丫”的视频发进志愿者群中，有女孩回复：“丫丫”或许想告诉我们它想回家，但它不会说话。
